This was our first time in Grand Bahama, and we hadn't done a lot of research. After a thoroughly unsatisfactory experience a Wyndham, we decided to seek other accommodations. After looking at a number of places we felt most comfortable at Lighthouse Pointe at the Grand Lucayan. Our room did indeed have a pleasing, serene view of the resort and the ocean. I loved it a sunrise, at night, and even during some daytime showers.

Great Place to Spend a Day or Week
I went here for the day on a Bahamas Paradise cruise. This is a very nice resort and the people that work here are exceptionally nice - they make me want to move to the island. Nyoka Williams was a real standout and a pleasure to be around. Go hear and relax and enjoy yiurself. It is a great place to visit.

Amazing Day Trip
We came here on a cruise and took a taxi to this resort and purchased a day pass. This place is really nice and we enjoyed the beach and the pool. They have a bar and restaurant on site. Will be returning in the future!

Best Resort in the Bahamas!
Grand Lucayan Resort is an amazing property. It is beautiful and extremely well-kept. It is a fantastic place to visit, and we highly recommend this resort! The atmosphere was very relaxing and safe. The entire staff is one of the kindest staff you would ever encounter. Each staff member at the hotel, from the entrance of the hotel, bell service, front desk, housekeeping, concierge, and all the different restaurants, was extremely polite, attentive, and respectful. We quickly got to know the staff and felt like we had known each other for years. All the staff members went above and beyond the extra mile, to fulfill any request we had.
It was a wonderful experience. The resort while still not fully operational due to the Hurricane a few years ago, still had the Lighthouse Point of the resort still open. The rooms and grounds were nice, views were exceptional, but the best part of the resort was the staff. They truly were wonderful, seeming to go above and beyond to take care of you.
